Aside from miss Abigail still not taking in enough formula and her lungs being wet (which is still very concerning) Little miss Abigail is doing great! I want to step outside of all the concerns we still have for a moment and leap right into how well she is doing....

Her laughter is contagious... No one can make her laugh as hard as her brother. He can pretty much do anything and she cracks up! I love it! I'm going to invest in a flip sometime soon so I can share some of these priceless moments with you.
Her ability to make screaming noises makes our heart smile...she starts slowly talking (Abigail talk) then if no one is listening or she is being ignored it becomes louder and louder...typical girl.
The fact that she just had surgery a few weeks ago and is doing so well is such a blessing...we are just taking in each special moment.
We felt it was time to start a couple "firsts"
So let's jump right into it....First time in her excersaucer.........
Hmm..looks colorful
Big brother Luke showed her a couple things and
she went right at it!
Ok..now we are having fun!
Mommy...enough pictures already!
Since Abigail is not taking the bottle very well and
she seemed interested in food we decided to try cereal
a couple weeks early..she is after all 5 1/2 months!
First time eating
Not sure, but I think it taste good
umm...is there anymore in here?
I think there is a little left...
I think I almost got it all! :)
Tah Dah...All done!
First favorite blankie/kitty
Thanks Dana!
Oh...my sweet girl
We continue to pray that the Lord clears her lungs and helps her appetite come back!
Thank you for checking in.
Keeping you in our hearts and prayers for continued nutrition gains and reduced lung fluid...
ReplyDeleteNow... onto those pics... Oh. My. Goodness!
I love seeing her in the exersaucer and how Luke plays with her! Abigail's sweet little face... she is just beautiful... and you captured so many adorable expressions!
LOVE the cereal pics! Maybe that's going to be the key?! She look like she thoroughly enjoyed it! :-)
So great to see all these fun, happy firsts!
She looks beautiful. Thank you for sharing the pictures. I love your blog and will continue praying for your family.
ReplyDeleteThose are GREAT pictures!!!! Will contiue to pray for the bottle feeding to go better and for the lung fluid to be reduced. I loved how cute every single picture was. I do agree that you need a phone that takes videos or something so we can hear some of Abigails sweet noises. I love seeing Luke play with Abigail, that is great!! I loved the picture of Abigail with her tongue sticking out at you, and I would agree that she loves the cereal or it looked like it. She has great hair too, by the way. Praying daily and much for all of you. Hoping you are feeling great!
ReplyDeleteHugs and lots of love,
Tanya

ReplyDeleteHappy Hearts Week!
These photos of your sweeties absolutely warm my heart! Abigail is looking so big and I can see what an amazing big brother Luke is to her!
