Our new little blessing

Our new little blessing~

Abigail Elyse Chez

8lbs 19 1/2 inchez

Our sweet baby girl is doing well and we are running test the next couple of days to see how to proceed with her heart condition. We feel so very blessed and will send a more detailed update with more photos soon.

Your baby girl is beautiful and she looks wonderful!
I have been following your blog for a good while. I don't think I've ever left a comment. I have had 2 babies with complex CHD and like you, I have one awaiting me in Heaven. (My oldest son-he would be almost 17 now!) My youngest son is 3 1/2 and doing well.
Thankfully I have 4 other healthy children.
I have been praying for you as you've prepared to walk this path again and I'm hoping God blesses you and little Abigail with a smooth journey~

I found your blog through Moriah's....and I am glad. We have a little guy with the same heart defect as Luke's and we travel to Stanford to visit the great Dr. Hanley and Dr. Perry frequently. But..oh my, our Isaac is only 2 1/2...are you telling me that we STILL might be fighting about food when he's 4! OH boy...I might defer to you often on tips then.

You have the cutest family and a strong sense of faith. I will keep your family in my prayers and thanks for sharing with us all!

I just linked over from Moriah's blog and your family's story stole my heart. Congratulations on your new baby girl!!! We have a little guy, Owen (18mo, HLHS) and we have been traveling back and forth to LPCH. We live in Phoenix, but Owen needs a heart transplant, so we chose LPCH. So far we have only had the pleasure of working with the transplant team, but we are beyond impressed!

I will PRAY for your precious family. From what I hear, you're in the BEST of hands. :)

Grace Avery Chez

Our precious Gracie was born February 2005 with her twin brother Luke. Gracie was born with a congenital heart defect-Truncus Arteriosus. She was our little Angel sent from God and we will always feel blessed for the 3 years we had with her. God chose to take Gracie home Janurary 9, 2008. Although our hearts ache for our baby girl we know it was not goodbye...just we will see you soon! Abigail Elyse Chez

Our princess Abigail was born August 2009. Abigail was also born with the same congenital heart condition as her brother Luke, Tetrology of Fallot with Pulmonary Artesia and MAPCAS. She has endured two open heart surgeries within her first five months of life, along with 2 catheterizations. We did not know how our hearts would handle having another little girl again, but as always God knows. She too is another huge blessing from God! God blessed her with a happy spirit and she is always, "all smiles!"

About us

Adam and I were family friends and had known eachother for a number of years before we started dating. Shortly after we were dating we realized we were eachothers soul mate. Adam took me on an amazing trip to Paris in 2000 and surprised me with the most romantic marriage proposal. We were married in October 2000 and began our lives together in Corona del Mar, California. Our life consisted of work, traveling through Europe and many other locations, and lastly growing together as a couple. Four years into our marriage we were blessed with our twins Luke and Gracie and then in 2009 we were blessed with our sweet Abbey girl. The last eight years have been filled with many blessings, some trials and sorrow. We have been through eight open heart surgeries with our children. Extreme feeding issues. The most difficult~Our Gracie going to heaven~And we/our children face continued open heart surgeries. Although this journey has been extremely difficult at times, we have also received more blessings than we deserve. We have realized God chose us for eachother and also to be the parents of these amazing children he has given us. As pastor Chuck Obremski stated "finish the race strong" and that we will. Our hearts may suffer at times, but our souls will be saved. We will continue to keep our focus on all our blessings we receive with the most important one~life of eternity and the chance to be reunited with our sweet Gracie . Thank you for reading our blog.
